The Puyallup Extrication Team

It has, been a week since I first arrived in Puyallup for the four-day extrication class. I had not been to a formal class on vehicle extrication before, so I had a lot of high hopes for this class.
I have to say that the class exceeded all my expectations. You and your team of instructors were exceptional. It's very clear to me that each of you have a passion for what you do and the desire to see your fellow brothers in the fire service successful in the area of vehicle extrication.
There are so many things to learn and endless teaching points. You and your team are very polished and know how to deliver great instruction. You have to be some of the most down to earth firefighters that I've known. It was also great working with the five department members on Friday. What a great group of firefighters.
Thank you for instilling confidence in us and equipping us with tools to be able to approach, analyze, develop and execute a plan for a vehicle incident. I'm looking forward to sending down our second group for their class next week.
I also wanted to thank you for being very hospitable to Heather for the day she spent at the training facility taking pictures. She was able to capture some great photos for us to use for teaching back at our department. She really enjoyed observing the training and it gave her a different perspective on vehicle extrication.
I hope your trip to Alaska this week goes well for you and the team. Thanks again for everything you taught us.

"In 17 years of fire service experience, NOTHING comes close to the training offered by the Puyallup Extrication team! From the moment you arrive at the training grounds, you realize you're in for TOP NOTCH training. The professionalism, knowledge and willingness to teach is what sets the PXT apart from all others. I was surprised how well the class (PXT 301) is organized and flows. All instructors are experts in their field and always make themselves available for any questions or extra help a student may need. Even after completion of the class, they are there to answer questions and offer advice if asked! The Puyallup Extrication Team is THE ONLY place to get your extrication training! "
"I have been a Fireman for 32 years, and I have never taken part in a class so well instructed, or organized. Every instructor was on the same page. That's a very rare accomplishment."

"PXT put on the best class I have had in 29 years of Fire Service. It's a real hands-on, taught by true professionals, and not recommended for the faint of heart."
